How to install NumberLink Apps

Here's how to install the NumberLink apps on all your devices.

Sunbeam phone

• No installation is needed, all compatible Sunbeam phones come with NumberLink capabilities built into the regular contacts, dialer and messaging apps. This includes Pro and Horizon models with texting capabilities.

Windows

1. Get the Windows app from the downloads page.
2. Double click the downloaded msix file to start installation.

Mac

1. Get the Mac compatible app from the downloads page .
2. In the Downloads folder, double-click the dmg file.
3. Drag the NumberLink app to your Applications folder.

Linux

• An AppImage package is available from the downloads page .

Android client devices or Chromebooks

1. Open the Play Store and install the NumberLink app.
2. Turn off battery optimization for the NumberLink app. This setting is on the app info page, usually under Settings > App Settings > All apps > NumberLink > App battery usage > set this to "Unrestricted" or "Not optimized". This is required for reliable performance and real time syncing.

Android smartphones set as the host

To use an Android smartphone as the host device you'll need to install 3 apps from the Play Store.

1. Install NumberLink Phone and set it as the default phone app.
2. Install NumberLink Messaging and set it as the default messaging app.
3. Install NumberLink Host and grant the requested permissions. You'll also need to turn off battery optimization for the NumberLink Host app for reliable syncing.This setting is on the app info page, usually under Settings > App Settings > All apps > NumberLink Host > App battery usage > set this to "Unrestricted" or "Not optimized".
