How to use Quick Search

Quick search is a unique feature on Sunbeam phones that provides an easy way to initiate calls, open messaging conversations, and find contacts directly from the home screen. It also allows you to set any number from 2-99 as a speed dial to make it even easier to contact friends or family.

Searching for a Contact

To find a contact start by typing the corresponding keys, for example press 7 for the letter "S". Initially, the search shows results for speed dials before proceeding to match entries in the first name, last name, and phone number fields. You can also split the search between name fields by pressing the 0 key. For example, start typing the first name, then press the 0 key to start matching letters in the last name. This also works in reverse to allow you to search by last name followed by first name.

Calling, Messaging or Viewing a Contact

After searching for a contact, simply scroll down to the preferred contact and press the green Call button to place a call or the Message button to open a messaging conversation. To view the contact, press the center D-pad button to open the contact details.
