How to enable WiFi calling

Modified on Wed, Nov 22, 2023 at 1:29 PM

  1. Depending on your cellular carrier, you may need to enable WiFi calling in your account and provide a 911 address. Wifi calling can be used with T-Mobile or Verizon service, but does not work with AT&T.

  2. Next connect the phone to your Wi-Fi network and turn on Wi-Fi calling in the phone’s settings: System > Settings > Connectivity > WLAN > Wi-Fi Preferences > Advanced > Wi-Fi Calling > Enable Wi-Fi calling.

  3. Done! You can now make calls over WiFi even if you do not have a cellular signal.
